What will I learn?
The course aims to provide students with the necessary skills and qualifications to improve their English language, numerical and digital skills in order to progress into higher level courses or employment.The course is structured to provide students with a high standard of training leading to the full QQI Level 3 Employability Skills Award.
How is the course taught?
This course is taught in person with excellent teachers.
When will this course take place?
The course is part-time over two years, five days per week from early September until the end of May. Start times are 11:30 and finish times 13:15 approximately, Monday to Friday. Classes take place in Balbriggan, Castlemill Education Centre, K32P237.
Who can apply for this course?
Adults aged 18 and over can apply for this course to improve their English language skills and gain additional skills for employment. To ensure that learners are offered a place at the appropriate level, all applicants are assessed before a place on a course is offered.
Am I eligible for course funding?
This course is free to all participants.
Certification
Students will receive a certificate for each completed module and a full award certificate after completing the whole course.
